Program *63-1
Dialled Sub-Address Timeout
Program Type:
System
Initialised Default:
04 (4 seconds)
Program *63-1 Overview
The DK40 system will accept Sub-Address information dialled from a DKT/EKT/2 wire
extension, where the destination is an internal ISDN2 extension port. This programming
parameter offers a system “Dialled Sub-Address time-out” facility. Once the DKT/EKT/2
wire extension has dialled a valid extension number the “time-out” is started, any further
digits dialled are interpreted as Sub-Address information. When the time-out expires, the
system considers the dialled Sub-Address as complete and will route the call.
Note
A very short time-out will require users to enter the Sub-Address information very
quickly. Along time-out will increase internal call setup time.
