Installing the MDC 

The following describes the procedure for installing the MDC (See Figure 4-11). 

1.

 

Connect the 

modem cable

 to the connector on the MDC. 

2.

 

Install the 

MDC

 and connect it to the connector 

CN3010

 on the system board. 

CAUTION:   Be sure to install the MDC straight down carefully fitting the connectors of 

the MDC and system board, or the connectors may be damaged. 

3.

 

Secure the MDC with the following 

screws

.
