Removing the MDC 

The following describes the procedure for removing the MDC (See Figure 4-11).

Remove the following 

screws

 securing the MDC.

Pull the MDC straight up and disconnect the 

MDC 

from the connector

 on 

the system board. 

CAUTION:   Be sure to pull the MDC straight up carefully, or the connector may be 

damaged.

Disconnect the 

modem cable

 from the connector on the MDC.
