6. Using a seal driver, drive or press the seal on the
lower end of the spindle housing until the seal is
flush with the outer edge of the housing (Fig. 426).

7. Turn the spindle assembly over and install the split
ring spacer (Fig. 427).

9. Pack the tapered bearing with #2 grease and install
the tapered bearing (Fig. 429).

8. Install the inner spacer to the spindle assembly (Fig.
