13. Remove the 2 bolts, washers, and nuts on the right
and left side of the fan mounting plate (Fig. 261).

15. Remove the hose clamp from the air cleaner
assembly (Fig. 263).

14. Remove the fan mounting plate and radiator (Fig.
262).
16. Remove two bolts, washers, and nuts retaining the
air cleaner assembly to the left side radiator brace
(Fig. 264).
Note: This allows better access to the battery bolt
and nut.
