ELECTRICAL
Testing
For all models equipped with a standard seat, the seat
switch is located between the frame cross-member and
the rear of the hydraulic oil tank (Fig. 338).

When the seat is vacated, the switch is open and there
should be NO continuity between the two terminals.
When the seat is occupied, the switch closes and there
should be continuity between the two terminals. (Deluxe
suspension seat switch shown) (Fig. 339).

1. Disconnect the switch from the wiring harness.
2. Using a VOM or test light, check first to ensure there
is no continuity between either terminal, plunger out.
3. With the plunger pushed in, there should be
continuity between the terminals.
Note: This procedure applies to both standard seat
and deluxe suspension seat switches.
