Load Preset Menu
Because Omnia.9sg (along with the “Client Audio” feature built into NfRemote)
provides all of the tools – minus a calibrated microphone – to perform
speaker/room calibrations for each Monitor Output, it also provides a means by
which to store those calibrations for later recall in the form of presets.
Remember that these are NOT the same as your on-air processing presets! These
affect ONLY the Monitor Outputs. The menus and controls, however, operate in
exactly the same way.
•
The “Current Preset” window shows the preset currently in use.
•
Clicking on the “Recall Backup” button will place the preset listed into the
“current” location, allowing you to toggle back and forth between two presets.
•
Clicking on the “Diff Preset” button allows you to view differences between the
current and backup preset, providing neither have been modified and not saved.
Control settings from the current preset that are different from the backup
preset will be displayed in yellow.
•
The “Delete Preset” button does exactly that: Deletes the current preset. It will
remain the current preset until another preset is recalled, but will no longer be
available for recall once another preset replaces it.
•
The “Load From” button allows a preset saved to the PC running NfRemote to be
loaded into the Omnia.9sg. This is handy for uploading a configuration saved to
that PC from another unit. Remember that “Load From” immediately loads the
preset into the current preset slot, and that the preset must be saved on the
Omnia.9sg itself from the “Save Preset” menu in order to be available from the
list of presets to the right of the controls.
Save Preset Menu
The menus and controls here work the same way as their counterparts elsewhere in
the menus.
•
Clicking on “Save Preset” after typing the name of your choosing into the text
field will create a preset which can later be recalled from the list on the right side
of the screen.
•
The “Save to PC” button saves the preset file to the location of your choice on
your PC so that it can be shared or uploaded to other Omnia.9sg units.
