Chapter 3: Omnia.9sg Settings
In this chapter, we will take a more detailed look at the various menus, sub-menus
and controls of Omnia.9sg—starting with the “Omnia.9sg” menu. This chapter will
also cover basic navigation.
The menus – shown here in the “tabbed navigation” style which is selectable from
the “Menu” button at the top of the NfRemote screen, are hierarchal in nature.
In the illustration below, the highest level controls (“Tier 1”) are outlined in red,
followed Tier 2 outlined in yellow, then Tier 3 in green, and finally Tier 4 in orange.
Not all Tier 3 menus will have a Tier 4 sub-menu, but some do. At the “bottom” of
each menu/sub-menu you will find the individual controls, outlined here in blue.
Omnia.9sg Menu
This menu contains the sub-menus and controls for the stereo generator, composite
inputs, meter options, and both internal and external RDS settings.
Stereo Generator Menu
This sub-menu contains the controls for loading and saving presets, configuring and
adjusting the inputs, configuring and selecting the outputs, and other composite
related items such as Auto Pilot, MPX power limiting, and the controls to fine tune
the clipper.
