Auto Pilot Menu
As explained in detail earlier in the manual, Auto Pilot allows the stereo pilot to be
turned off when source material is mono and seamlessly re-enabled when the
source is stereo, providing significant improvements to noise levels and multipath
distortion.
•
This feature is toggled on and off by the “Auto Pilot” control.
•
The “Stereo Sense” control determines the level at which stereo audio in
conjunction with a mono source (such as a soft stereo music bed running under
an otherwise dry voice) is considered true stereo. Higher settings make the
switching more sensitive to such stereo content and will accordingly turn the
pilot back sooner.
