2.17 IDU forms condensation or leaks
IDU forms condensation or
leaks
Check leak source (generally condensate water or
condensation); condensation deposits at air outlet or panel,
and condensate water results from drain pump or
condensing water pipe.
Condensate water
Check whether connecting-terminal signal output of water
level switch on PCB is correct Whether drain pump works
properly
Whether lift height of condensate water is within specified range
Whether drainage outlet is blocked Whether condensing water
pipe is tilted properly (1/100) Whether pipe joints and throttle
components are properly insulated
Whether main drainage pipe is blocked (if yes, how many IDUs
leak) Whether main condensing water pipe is provided with air
outlet
Condensation Whether air outlet is obstructed Whether air flow is
small Whether indoor humidity is high Whether fan
stops but EXV doesn’t (due to non-uniform power
supply to IDUs)
Fault exists
Replace IDU PCB board or drain pump
Make modifications in accordance with the
technical manual
