Replace the CPU PCBA as follows:
1.
Connect the ground lead to the PCBA.
2.
Place the bottom edge of the PCBA on the foam insert between
the two sets of alignment/retaining tabs on the bottom of the
chassis.
3.
Line up the black snap latches with the sockets at the top
corners of the PCBA and push the pins through to secure the
PCBA to the chassis. (It may be necessary to press down
slightly on the top edge of the PCBA to engage the
retaining pins.
NOTE: Support the PCBA on its upper edge with your fingertips to avoid
flexing the board when reconnecting the connectors.
4.
Reconnect all cables, using Figure 8.3 to identify the proper
connector locations. (All connectors are keyed and will only
engage in one direction).
Transition PCBA
To remove the Transition PCBA, do the following (Figure 8.1):
1.
Disconnect all external rear panel connections to the detector.
2.
Disconnect the green and yellow ground lead.
3.
Disconnect the ribbon cable by spreading the retaining clips
open and disengaging the connector.
4.
Gently pull the six black snap latches holding the Transition
PCBA to the detector rear panel free and remove the board.
Replace the Transition PCBA using the preceding procedure in
reverse order.
Lamp Power
Supply PCBA
The Lamp Power Supply PCBA is located in the center of the
detector under an aluminum retaining bar (Figure 8.1). To remove
this PCBA:
1.
Gently pull the black snap latches free from the sockets
securing the aluminum retaining bar in place and remove the
bar.
2.
Disconnect the green and yellow ground lead from the Lamp
Power Supply PCBA.
3.
Disconnect all four connectors across the top edge of the
PCBA. (Two connectors are located on each side of the
PCBA.)
