Status Group
The Status fields are located in the upper left corner of the Control
page and indicate the status of the detector. The upper-most area
displays
Ready
when the detector is ready to collect data and
Not
Ready
if it is not.
There are three additional fields that display the detector’s firmware
version numbers. The version information is for the boot ROM, the
firmware stored in battery backed-up RAM, and the I/O (Input /
Output) driver. After the Status – On and Data –Start buttons are
clicked, the diagnostics software reads and displays the current
version numbers from the detector.
Lamps Group
The D
2
and W Lamp fields indicate the status of the lamps;
Starting
,
On
,
Off
, Dim , or
Failed
. The amount of time that each lamp has been
used is also displayed.
Discrete Channels
Group
The A, B, and C Counts/mAU fields display the intensity or
absorbance of the respective channels as selected in the Control page.
These fields are continuously updated when the Status-On button is
clicked.
