7. Press the Execute button in the Wavelength group.
An info box (Figure 5.16) opens to remind you of all of the
pre-conditions (steps 1, 2, and 3).

8. If all preconditions are met, press the OK button in the
info box.
A background spectrum is now collected. It is used to remove the
mobile phase absorbance contribution. The status box at the bottom of
the page will display various pieces of information describing the
calibration process.
