Four-pool assay, requiring 8M reads per sample
Note:
Eight samples at 8M reads per sample exceed the capacity of the GX5
™
Chip.
You can proceed with the run using eight pairs of library strips and four pairs of
template strips, but you may not achieve the minimum reads per sample set for the
assay.
Configure an Ion Reporter

Server account (administrator)
An administrator-level user can configure an Ion Reporter
™
Server account to link it to
the Genexus
™
Software. When configured, you can upload sample results files from
Genexus
™
Software directly to Ion Reporter
™
Software.
1.
Click (Settings)

Thermo Fisher Account.
2.
In the Thermo Fisher Account Settings screen, click Add New.
3.
In the Add Thermo Fisher Account dialog box, in Account Type,select Ion
Reporter
™
Local.
The fields that are required for configuring the account are populated in the
dialog box.
4.
Complete the information in the required fields, click Get Ion Reporter
™
Software Versions, then select the software version.
5.
If you want to make this account a default account for uploading sample results
files, select the Set as Default Account checkbox.
6.
Click Save.
