If a spill or leak occurs inside the instrument, perform the following steps to clean or
decontaminate the sequencer.
Note:
Dispose of all waste in appropriate liquid or solid waste containers.
1.
Remove each Genexus
™
Bottle 2, then remove and empty the Genexus
™
Bottle 1
and Waste Carboy.
2.
Remove the Genexus
™
Cartridge.
3.
Inspect the floor of the sequencing reagents bay and Genexus
™
Cartridge port for
liquid.
4.
Using absorbent paper, soak up as much liquid as possible, then wash the
affected area with 10% bleach solution.
5.
Wipe the affected surfaces with 70% isopropanol, then allow to air-dry.
