19. Remove the plug from the EGC vent opening. Locate the luer adapter
(P/N 053980) and cap (P/N 053981) supplied with the EGC.
20. Wipe off any liquid from the EGC and screw the luer adapter onto the
vent opening. Remove the cap on the luer adapter by twisting.
Save
the cap

21. Twist the luer lock and
EGC VENT
line into the luer adapter.
22. Go to the ion count screen and press
ENTER
.
23. Press
to select 100% (see Figure 52) and press
ENTER
.

Replacing a CR-TC
1. Turn off the power to the Dionex RFC.
2. Follow the instructions in Section 6.4, Steps 3 through 7 to disconnect
the EGC cable, cap the EGC vent opening, remove the EGC from the
holder, and disconnect the inlet and outlet tubing. Set the EGC aside.
3. Disconnect the CR-TC cable from the Dionex RFC-30
CR-TC
cable.
Twist the locking ring to unlock the two cables and then pull them
apart.
4. Disconnect the
TO INJ VALVE IN - P
line from the injection valve and
disconnect the
SRS/AES REGEN OUT
line from the
REGEN OUT
port
on the suppressor.
5. In order to remove the old CR-TC, you will need to lift the EGC
holder out of its rack and turn it upside down. If there is not enough
slack in the lines, disconnect the liquid line connections from the
pump, and/or waste container.
