ERR: TTL/AC CONTROL CONFLICT [161]
This error occurs when the TTL Control/AC Control button on the
Dionex RFC rear panel is set to the
AC Control
(in) position and a
Pump
TTL signal occurs.
The
AC Control
button position bypasses the pump TTL control. This
setting is used only when a DX-120 is operating under AC control.
For all other operating configurations, select the
TTL Control
(out)
position. This setting ensures that the installed devices (suppressor,
EGC, CR-TC) are on only when the pump flow is on.
To troubleshoot:
Push the TTL Control/AC Control button to select the
TTL Control
(out) position.

Other Operating Problems
The table below lists some routine problems that may occur when
installing or operating the Dionex RFC.
Problem
Solution
I can’t set the suppressor
current high enough.
The selected suppressor type may be incorrect.
Current requirements vary for the two types of
suppressors. For the Dionex AES, the
maximum current allowed is 150 mA. For the
SRS, the maximum current is 500 mA.
If you are using a Dionex RFC-30 that is set up
for automatic current calculation, also check
the settings for flow rate and EGC
concentrations. These values affect the upper
limit for current.
For instructions on selecting the Dionex
RFC-10 suppressor type, see page 15. For
instructions on setting the Dionex RFC-30
current see “Setting Up the Dionex RFC-30
for Automatic Current Calculation” on
page 24.
