4. Press
or
to select the gradient time (the number of minutes to
reach the final concentration).
In the example in Figure 35, a gradient
time of 10.00 minutes is selected.
5. Press
ENTER
.
6. To set the final concentration, press the
button to display the EGC
final concentration screen.
NOTE The final concentration screen is available only if
the gradient time is greater than 0.
7. Press
ENTER
.
8. Press
or
to select the desired final concentration and press
ENTER
. In the example in Figure 36, the final concentration is
60.00 mM.
NOTE If the Dionex RFC-30 is set up for automatic
calculation (see “Setting Up the Dionex RFC-30 for
Automatic Current Calculation” on page 24) the
Dionex RFC-30 uses the highest concentration
entered to calculate the suppressor current. This is
normally the final concentration.
Running a Gradient
1. Verify that the
Gradient
TTL on the rear panel is connected to a TTL
output on a controlling device such as the pump, combination
pump/detector, or DX-120. See Section B.2 for DX-320, DX-500,
and DX-600 connection instructions. See Section B.3 for DX-120
instructions.
