9.26.2 Replacing Capillary Columns

1. Turn off the pump flow.

2. Open the DC upper door.

3. Disconnect the line from the

ELUENT OUT

port of the injection valve and

the line from the

ELUENT OUT

fitting on the column cartridge (see

Figure 9-41

4. Loosen the two thumbscrews on the column cartridge and pull the

cartridge out of the IC Cube.
