We will not be liable for damages and defects caused by improper handling. Therefore do not expose the

device to moisture, extreme temperatures or shocks. Do not mount the device in a person impact zone of
the passenger compar®ent or in airbag unfolding area. Do not attempt to operate the system when you
have noticed a defect but contact your dealer. Attempts to repair the system by unqualified personnel can be
dangerous to the user. For this reason, only qualified staff is authorized to carry through inspections.

Since 2001 it is forbidden by German law that drivers make telephone calls without a hands-free set while
driving. This also includes picking up the phone while driving.
On the basis of the experience made with regard to the wishes and requirements of car drivers a new
product has been developed at THB Bury - the UNI BlueAdapter. By means of this innovative product you
can observe the law and still legitimately answer incoming phone calls while driving. To this end, your mobile
phone does not have to be firmly connected to the hands-free set. The mobile phone only has to be inside
the passenger cab. Moreover, in future more and more mobile phones supporting the Bluetooth technology
are brought to market. Thus you do not need to purchase a new mobile phone holder when you change to a
new device but you can continue to use the UNI BlueAdapter.

The UNI BlueAdapter enables you to use a mobile phone which is Bluetooth capable at an UNI System 8
hands-free set of THB Bury without having these components mechanically connected to each other. So you
can even leave the mobile phone in the pocket or the executive case. The UNI BlueAdapter can only be
used with the universal hands-free sets UNI TrendTalk, UNI CarTalk and UNI DeskTalk of the UNI System 8.

Each manufacturer of mobile phones uses different menu navigations in the available phone types.
Furthermore, software releases of mobile phones with the same design can vary considerably. Therefore,
please read carefully the operating guidelines of your mobile phone. Specifically take note of the functions
with regard to the topics Bluetooth , hands-free and headset mode.

If you wish to use the VoiceDial functions of your mobile phone via the UNI BlueAdapter (provided that they
are supported by the mobile phone), entries for dialling telephone numbers with voice dialling have to be
pre-recorded.
These voice commands can then be called via the UNI BlueAdapter with active Bluetooth connection.

The operation of the UNI BlueAdapter with new mobile phones or mobile phones which are already
available for a longer period and which are used with updated and modified software releases can differ in
some respects from the procedure described herein.

Aºezaþi adaptorul UNI Blue Adapter în suportul sãu din dispozitivul handsfree (HF). Dupã ce porneºte
alimentarea cu curent a HF se activeazã ºi UNI BlueAdapter. Se aude un semnal acustic lung (profil
"handsfree”) sau douã semnale scurte (profil "headset”). Dacã a fost activat profilul "handsfree”, UNI
BlueAdapter va încerca timp de 10 secunde sã facã legãtura cu ultimul telefon mobil la care a fost conectat.
Dacã este activ profilul "headset” UNI BlueAdapter, va aºtepta sosirea unui semnal de la telefonul mobil.

Pentru prima legãturã efectuatã via Bluetooth va trebui sã activaþi funcþia Bluetooth a telefonului mobil ºi sã
începeþi sã cãutaþi aparatele Bluetooth care sunt disponibile în zonã. În acest caz concret cãutaþi aparatul
cu denumirea "THBBTPAD”. În cazul în care au fost depistate mai mult apara e, alegeþi din listã adaptorul
UNI BlueAdapter ºi introduceþi PIN-ul "1234”. În acest moment se va realiza (cupla) legãtura via Bluetooth
între telefonul mobil ºi adaptorul UNI BlueAdapter.

În cazul în care nu se poate face legãtura via Bluetooth, în funcþie de telefonul mobil existent va trebui sã
schimbaþi profilul "handsfree” setat din fabricaþie la UNI BlueAdapter cu profilul "headset”. Pentru aceasta
apãsaþi timp de 3 secunde pe tasta din dreapta. LED-ul din dreapta începe sã semnalizeze, dupã care e
aud douã semnale acustice joase (profil "handsfree”). Apãsaþi încã o datã timp de 3 secunde pe tasta din
dreapta, dupã care se vor auzi douã semnale acustice înalte. UNI BlueAdapter va face atunci legãtura cu
telefonul mobil în profil "headset”. Dupã ce legãtura a fost realizatã se aprinde LED-ul roºu din stânga. Dacã
nici acum nu se poate face legãtura, verificaþi ºi actualizaþi versiunea software folositã de telefonul mobil.

Citiþi instrucþiunile de folosire ale telefonului mobil dacã doriþi alte informaþii cu privire la meniul, funcþiile ºi
modul de utilizare a telefonului. Acestea diferã considerabil de la un producãtor / tip aparat la altul.

Legãtura trebuie refãcutã în cazul în care UNI BlueAdapter a fost folosit cu sau la alte telefoane mobile,
aparþinând eventual altor ºoferi. Pentru aceasta se va alege întâi profilul UNI BlueAdapter corespunzãtor
telefonului mobil, dupã care se va proceda la o nouã cuplare a aparatelor. UNI BlueAdapter va memora de
fiecare datã ultimul profil ales. O altã cond þie importantã pentru realizarea unei legãturi via Bluetooth este
ca telefonul mobil pornit sã se afle pe o razã de circa 10 metri.

Întreruperea unei legãturi Bluetooth se poate face confortabil atât de la adaptorul UNI BlueAdapter, cât ºi
de la telefonul mobil. Legãtura se întrerupe ºi în cazul în care se scoate telefonul celular de pe raza de
acþiune a adaptorului UNI BlueAdapter, respectiv când se scoate telefonul din dispozitivul handsfree.

Legãtura Bluetooth activã se întrerupe ºi în cazul în care se opreºte alimentarea cu curent a setului
handsfree plug & play prin scoaterea cablului din brichetã, sau în momentul întreruperii alimentãrii
dispozitivului fix "mâini libere”.

Reþineþi vã rugãm cã bateria telefonului celular se consumã rapid în timp ce funcþia Bluetooth este activã.
Se recomandã sã dezactivaþi funcþia Bluetooth în perioada în care aceasta nu este folositã (dacã lãsaþi
maºina parcatã un timp mai lung, etc.).

Pentru a putea folosi funcþia VoiceDialling a telefonului mobil cu ajutorul UNI BlueAdapter va trebui sã
marcaþi numerele respective în telefonul mobil.
