3.7. Joystick operation
(fig. 5, nos. 4 & 5)
The joysticks on the central dashboard operate the suction mouth flap and the sweeping unit.
The left-hand joystick operates the suction mouth
flap:
•
pull backwards to open the front flap.
•
press forward to close the front flap.
The right-hand joystick operates the sweeping
unit:
•
press the joystick to the left to move the
sweeping unit to the left.
•
press the joystick to the right to move the
sweeping unit to the right.
3.8. Master switch
(fig. 5, no. 1)
Use the key on the
central cab switchboard to activate all functions in one go that are
required as a minimum to begin sweeping.
The vehicle must stand still before the is used.
Before operating the the driver must ensure that no hazards are created for the
vehicle and its environment.
By operating the
the following functions are activated simultaneously:
- Fan
- Rotate the curb brushes
- Lower the curb brushes and suction mouth
- Water pump
- Warning beacon
