11. INTEGRATED AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING SYSTEM
11.1
Setting the temperature of the heater (5P1) and the airco system (5P2)
Temperature setting heater
(heater switched: lamp out 1 on)
•
Press “Set” once.
•
Go to 5P1 with the arrow keys.
•
When 5P1 appears in the display, press “Set”.
•
Adjust the temperature by pressing the up or down arrow keys.
•
After the adjustment, press “Set”.
•
Wait 15 seconds: the actual cabin temperature appears in the display.
This completes the temperature setting for the heater.
Temperature setting airco system
(airco system switched: lamp out 2 on)
•
Press “Set” once.
•
Go to 5P2 with the arrow keys.
•
When 5P2 appears in the display, press “Set”.
•
Adjust the temperature by pressing the up or down arrow keys.
•
After the adjustment, press “Set”.
•
Wait 15 seconds: the actual cabin temperature appears in the display.
This completes the temperature setting for the airco.
Attention!
» The heater and airco system only function when the blower has been switched on (fig. 5, no. 19).
» To prevent the heater from switching on during warm periods, the heater temperature must be
set lower than the temperature for the airco system.
» If the cabin has been heated too strongly, the best thing to do is to open the window for a little
while to allow the hottest air to escape. However, the best cooling is achieved when the windows
are subsequently closed entirely.
» The optimum difference between the inside and outside temperature lies between 4 and 6
degrees. A larger temperature difference may cause colds.
» The adjustable outflow mouths can best be aimed at the source of heat or the window and not
directly at the people inside the cabin.
» The heating and air conditioning can be used simultaneously for a large part of the year. The air
is then first dehumidified by the airco system and subsequently brought up to an agreeable
temperature by the heater. This results in a very quick demisting of the windows, even when the
people inside are wearing damp clothes. The setting should then be as follows: set the airco system
2° lower and the heater 2° higher than the inside temperature
