VEHICLE OPERATION
Always observe the safety regulations and measures described in § 2.2, § 2.3, § 2.4
and § 2.7.
Before entering traffic, the operator should be sufficiently familiarized with the handling of the
sweeper vehicle. This applies particularly to the large steering radius (70°) and the hydraulic drive
mechanism.
After sufficient practice with the sweeper vehicle the operator may participate in traffic as long as
local traffic regulations are observed.
Drive carefully at all times, particularly when driving up or down gradients. This means that the
driving style should always be adapted to prevailing conditions.
•
All manoeuvres should cease if traffic conditions do not allow for their execution.
•
In connection with safety:
o
the vehicle must have sufficient lights, and
o
the warning beacons must be switched on.
