8.

TOWING THE SWEEPER VEHICLE

If it becomes necessary to tow the vehicle, the
hydraulic system on the rear axle must be
deactivated.
To do this turn the socket screws in the middle
of both hub caps some 6 to 8 turns clockwise
in the direction of “TOW”.
The vehicle is now ready to be towed.

•

The vehicle must only be towed by means of a bar. This is because the vehicle
does not have sufficient braking power when the diesel engine is switched off.

•

The towing speed must be limited to max. 15 km/h.

The power steering is deactivated during towing. Nevertheless, the vehicle can be
steered. The steering wheel offers more resistance, but it will not damage the vehicle.

After towing the socket screws in both hub caps must be turned anti-clockwise in the direction of
“DRIVE”.
