6.
USING THE HOSING-DOWN HOSE OR THE HIGH-PRESSURE LANCE
The hosing-down hose or the
high-pressure lance (optional)
can be used to clean the sweeper
vehicle with water from the water tanks. In this way the necessary cleaning work can be carried out
in every desired location. The connections for the hosing-down hose or the
high-pressure lance
are
at the rear of the cabin on the right-hand side.
When the water tank runs empty during the use of the hosing-down hose or the high-
pressure lance, the water pump must be switched off to prevent damage.
6.1.
Hosing down hose
1)
Bring the vehicle to a halt.
2)
Engage the hand brake.
3)
Deactivate all engaged functions.
4)
Connect the hosing-down hose (fig.18, E).
5)
Check the water level on the dashboard.
6)
Switch on the water pump.
7)
Take the hosing-down hose in your hand.
8)
Open the valve (fig. 18, D) near the connection.
6.2.
High-pressure lance (optional)
1)
Bring the vehicle to a halt.
2)
Engage the hand brake.
3)
Deactivate all engaged functions.
4)
Check the water level on the master instrument (see § 3.6.1 and § 3.6.2).
5)
Inside the cabin switch on the water pump
(fig. 1, no. 15).
6)
Turn the ball valve on the right-hand rear of the cabin upwards (fig. 19A).
7)
Take the high-pressure lance in your hand.
The high-pressure lance is now ready for use. Before using the lance, refer to the original
operating manual supplied with the vehicle.
8)
After working with the high-pressure lance:
-
Close the ball valve (fig. 19B), and
-
Switch off the water pump inside the vehicle.
