USING THE HYDRAULIC MANUAL PUMP
On the right-hand side of the rear of the cabin a hydraulic manual pump has been installed (fig. 20).
In case of a malfunction of the diesel engine, this pump can be used to operate the following
functions to bring the machine to the transport mode:
-
open/close the tailboard
-
tip/lower the hopper
-
sweeping unit up
-
sweeping unit left/right
-
third brush movements
The handle to operate the manual pump is on the left-hand side of the passenger seat.
During normal use of the sweeper vehicle the red steering handle (A) must always be
pointed at the pump handle of the hand pump (B), in other words: set to pump
position I. In pump position II all hydraulic functions are cut.
1)
Take the handle to operate the manual pump
and place it in the pump handle of the manual
pump (B).
2)
Turn the ignition key of the sweeper vehicle
to the 1st position.
3)
Operate the desired hydraulic function.
4)
Check that the steering handle (A) is in pump
position I.
5)
Activate the desired function by pumping. Do
this by moving the handgrip up and down.
6)
After having used the manual pump:
-
Leave the steering handle (A) in pump
position I.
-
Remove the handgrip from the pump
handle (B) and store it again.
For lowering the rubbish hopper or closing the
tailboard, only the first respectively the last part
of the movement has to be operated by means of
pumping. The remaining part of the movement
can be carried out by operating the function
button on the remote control.
