The remote control
(fig. 1, no. 19)
The rubbish hopper and the tailboard are operated by pressing the buttons on the remote control.
During tipping of the hopper a warning lamp will flash and an acoustic signal will sound. These
signals only cease once the hopper has been fully tipped and the safety support has been extended
underneath the hopper.
The acoustic alarm also sounds during the opening and closing of the tailboard.
While the hopper is being lowered, the warning light and acoustic alarm are activated again and
only stop once the hopper has been fully lowered.
•
Never tip a filled rubbish hopper without first having opened the tailboard! If the
hopper is filled to such a degree that tipping with closed tailboard could be
unsafe, tipping is automatically blocked. To enable further tipping in this
situation, the tailboard has to be opened first.
•
Tipping is prohibited while the vehicle is parked on a gradient!
•
The vehicle may not be driven with a tipped hopper!
The remote control can be carried anywhere in or around the vehicle. This ensures
that the operator or technician always has an emergency stop at hand in every
situation and workplace.
When the remote control is not connected, the whole vehicle is deactivated.
