Important:
DTMF Detect
,
Tone Detect
and
Voice Detect
commands are
required to enable the detectors prior to a
Wait for Event(s)
to use the detector.
The detectors must be disabled after the events have occurred to make the
resources available to other channels.
DTMF Detect
The
DTMF Detect
command is used to enable and disable the DTMF tone detector.
The detector must be enabled before DTMF tones can be identified by the Edge
during an active call. The DTMF detector can look for digits as specified in the script
or for the phone number assigned on the Unit screen. If looking for a string of digits,
more than one pair of
Wait For Events – DTMF Digit Seen
and
If – DTMF Detect
Seen
commands may be executed between the
DTMF Detect Enable
and
DTMF
Detect Disable
commands. The detector must be disabled after the script is finished
looking for DTMF digits.
