To customize a Feature button, complete the following
steps:
1. Lift the handset, or press the
SPEAKERPHONE
button, and then dial
7801
.
•
A voice prompt says “You have accessed the
Feature button programmer.”
2. Press
2
, when prompted, to program a new
Feature button. A voice prompt says “Press
the Feature button you wish to program.”
Note
If you want to review a Feature button before
changing it, press
1
to review Feature buttons. For
more information, see “Reviewing Feature But-
tons,” page 36.
3. Press the Feature button you want to change. A
voice prompt says “Enter the desired Feature
Code.”
4. Dial the two-digit feature code. For example,
Handsfree–14. For a list of feature codes, see
“Feature Buttons and Access Codes,” page 75.
•
If you enter a code not on the list, a voice
prompt says “I’m sorry. That is not a valid
code.”
•
If you enter a correct code, a voice prompt
confirms your selection.

To set a Feature button to the default setting, dial

5. Repeat Steps 4–5 for each Feature button you
want to program. When finished, press
*
to
return to the Feature button programmer main
menu, or hang up.

Change your template to show the Feature
buttons you customized.
