Conference Calling
The
CONFERENCE
Feature button enables you to create a
conference call between three people without using the
Conference Rooms.
Note
When the person who initiates the conference call
hangs up, the conference is terminated.
To set up a conference call, complete the following steps:
1. Answer or make a call on Line 1, and then place
the call on hold.
•
The
LINE
1
button status lamp blinks.
2. Use Line 2 to answer a second call, or make a
second call.
•
The
LINE
2
button status lamp illuminates.
4. Press the
CONFERENCE
Feature button.
•
Both calls are placed on hold, and the
LINE
1
and
LINE
2
button status lamps blink.
5. Press the
LINE
1
button.
•
All three parties are now connected.
•
Callers connected to the conference hear a
three-beep entrance tone.
Note
You must press the line button of the first caller
within 10 seconds after pressing the
CONFERENCE
Feature button, or the call will be disconnected.
Note
If the person who initiates the conference hangs up,
the conference is terminated.
