Customizing an Individual Extension
View Button
1. Lift the handset, or press the
SPEAKERPHONE
button, and then dial
7801
.
•
A voice prompt says “You have accessed the
Feature button programmer.”
2. Press

, when prompted, to program a new
Feature button. A voice prompt says “Press
the Feature button you wish to program.”
3. Press the Extension View button (A, B, or C) that
you want to customize.
Note
If a button is customized as a Line Appearance
button, the voice prompt says “Invalid Feature
button selection.”
4. Dial the extension you want to view. For ex-
ample, dial extension 101.

Repeat Steps 3 and 4 to customize additional
Extension View buttons.
Additional Monitoring Features
You can customize the Extension View buttons (DSS/BLF)
to monitor the status of Guest Mailboxes, Work Groups,
Conference Rooms and Automatic Call Distribution
(ACD) Groups. For more information on customizing an
Extension View button, see “Customizing an Individual
Extension View Button,” page 37.
Note
Check with your system installer for Guest Mail-
box, Work Group, Conference Room and ACD
extensions.
