For a Desktop Phone
When the DP200 Display Phone is assembled for desktop
use, the upper end of the housing is positioned higher than
the lower end, as shown in Figure 2.

installation
1. Plug the line cord into the line jack on the bottom
of the housing.
2. Turn the baseplate face down. Orient the base-
plate so that its wide end is toward the upper
half of the phone housing.
3. Insert the baseplate mounting posts into the
topmost pair of mounting post holes in the
housing.
4. Squeeze the baseplate latch into the locking slot
on the housing. Verify the baseplate is firmly
attached.
5. Plug the other end of the handset cord into the
handset. The end clicks into place when
properly inserted.
6. Turn the phone right side up and put the
handset in the cradle.
7. Plug the line cord into the appropriate wall
jack, and then check for a dial tone.
