Telecor DP200 Display Phone User’s Guide

Placing a Call On Hold

The

HOLD

Feature button enables you to suspend a call

without completely disconnecting. Callers placed on hold
will hear Music On Hold or Promotions On Hold. Calls
can also be taken off hold at other extensions using the
Call Pickup feature. See “Feature Keystrokes,” page 78.

1. Press the

HOLD

Feature button once to place a

call on hold.

•

The

LINE

button status lamp blinks while

the call is on Hold, and the

character on

the display changes to an

indicating the

line is not connected.

Taking a Call Off Hold

2. Press the

LINE

button to take a call off hold.

•

Both you and the caller hear two beeps, and
the

character on the display changes to an

, indicating your call is again connected.

•

The

LINE

button status lamp remains on.

Transferring a Call

To transfer a call to another extension, complete the
following steps:

1. With a call on the line, press the

TRANSFER

Feature button. The caller is put on hold.

2. Dial the extension to which you want to transfer

the call, or press the Extension View button.
