Table 20: Digital input alarms
Alarm
Description
Input Missing
Indicates that no signal is detected on the selected SDI input.
Input Unlocked
Indicates unable to lock to selected SDI input signal.
AP CRC Alarm
For SD signals, indicates that the RP165 AP (active picture) CRC embedded in the data stream
differs from the calculated CRC value or that it has been marked as invalid in the EDH packet,
indicating there are EDH errors in the active picture.
FF CRC Alarm
For SD signals, indicates that the RP165 FF (full field) CRC embedded in the data stream differs
from the calculated CRC value that it has been marked as invalid in the EDH packet, indicating
there are EDH errors in the full field.
EDH Alarm
For SD signals, indicates that EDH (error detection and handling) has detected an error.
Y Chan CRC Error
For HD signals, indicates that the embedded CRC value for a line's Y (luminance) samples differs
from the calculated CRC, and therefore a transmission error has occurred.
C Chan CRC Error
For HD signals, indicates that the embedded CRC for a line's C (chrominance) samples differs
from the calculated CRC, and therefore a transmission error has occurred.
Y Anc Checksum Error
For HD signals, indicates that the embedded checksum in a Y (luminance) ancillary data packet
differs from the calculated checksum, and therefore a transmission error has occurred.
C Anc Checksum Error
For HD signals, indicates that the embedded checksum in a C (chrominance) ancillary data packet
differs from the calculated checksum, and therefore a transmission error has occurred.
Y Anc Parity Error
For HD signals, indicates that the Y channel ancillary parity bit does not match the calculated
parity bit value, and therefore a transmission error has occurred.
C Anc Parity Error
For HD signals, indicates that the C channel ancillary parity bit does not match the calculated
parity bit value, and therefore a transmission error has occurred.
Dual Link Timing Error
For HD signals, indicates that the relative timing between Link A and Link B (of a dual link signal)
exceeds the user-defined threshold.

Alarm
Description
TS Sync Loss
Indicates a loss of synchronization per ETSI TR 101 290 First Priority 1.1.
Sync Byte Error
Indicates that Sync_byte is not equal to 0x47 per ETSI TR 101 290 First Priority 1.2.
Continuity Counter Error
Indicates an incorrect packet order or that a packet occurs more that twice or the a packet is lost
per ETSI TR 101 290 First Priority 1.4.
