1. Locate module to be removed: Locate the Large module Interface circuit
board in the locator diagram, Figure 4--9, page 4--21. Remove the Large
Module Interface circuit board following in this order:

Trim

Bottom cover
1
Left and Right covers
1
Front and Rear Power Distribution boards
1
Acquisition Assembly
2. Orient the instrument: Set the instrument so its top is down on the work
surface and its bottom is facing you.
3.
Remove the Large Module Interface circuit board:
a. Remove the two

inch hex threaded post from each optical module
slot. See Figure 4--37, page 4--62
b.
Remove the two T-10 Torxdrive screws from each optical module slot.
c. Remove the T-15 Torxdrive screw located on the Large Module Interface
circuit board. See Figure 4--40, page 4--66.
d.
Lift up on the rear of the Large Module Interface circuit board and lift
the board out of the instrument.
4. Reinstallation: Do, in reverse order, substeps a through d.
