Removal and Installation Procedures

DSA8200 Digital Serial Analyzer and Modules Service Manual

Locate module to be removed:

Locate the Fan assembly in the locator

diagram

Internal Modules

, Figure 4--8, page 4--20. Additional modules to be

removed:

Trim (all)

Bottom cover

Left and Right covers

Orient the instrument:

Set the instrument so its bottom is down on the work

surface and its left side is facing you.

Remove the fan assembly:

See Figure 4--35, page 4--59.

CAUTION.

Take care when handling the fan assembly, the fan blades are brittle

and can be easily damaged.

Disconnect the fan from processor/display board:

Disconnect the two fan

power cables J130 and J170 located on the processor board.

Remove the two T-15 Torxdrive screws securing the fan assembly to the

top main chassis.

Lift the fan assembly up and out from the chassis.

Reinstallation:

Do in reverse steps a through c to reinstall the fan assembly.
