Subscriber Line Characteristics Configuration Parameter
Note: * indicates mandatory parameters for Aeonix.
Name
Description
*
Gain to IP
Adjust the voice volume from the analog extension. The default is 0 dB.
Taking decibel (dB) as the unit, setting range is -3 t3 dB. -3 means declining
of 3 dB; +3 denotes the amplification of 3 dB.
For Aeonix US ALARMS
Adjust gain to 0 dB
*
Gain to terminal
Adjust the voice volume to the analog extension. The default is -3 dB.
Taking decibel (dB) as the unit, setting range is -6 t3 dB. -3 means declining
of 3 dB; +3 denotes the amplification of 3 dB.
For Aeonix US ALARMS
Adjust gain to -1.5 dB
Impedance
Select the parameter of FXS port line impedance. The default value is 600
(Ohm)
.
The optional values are:
Complex (default value)
600
(Ohm)
900
(Ohm)
*
Hook flash time
min
Used by the gateway to detect Hooflash event. The default is 75 ms.
The gateway will ignore any flash that falls short of the shortest flash time.
Generally, this value should not be less than 75 ms.
Enter the required time as per actual phone type.
Hook flash time
max
Used by gateway to detect hookflash. The default is 800 ms.
The gateway will regard the flash duration between
Min.hookflash
and
Max.hookflash
as the effective flash. Any flash lasting over the longest time will be
considered by the gateway as hang up. Generally, this value should not be less than
800 ms.
Caller ID
transmission
mode
Select transmission mode of Caller ID signal from the FXS port to the phone.
FSK or DTMF
SDMF or MDMF
Sending Caller ID data before or after ringing
Sending Caller ID data with or without parity
Hook debouncing
Used by gateway to avoid a glitch of the phone status. The default is 50 ms.
When the duration from hang-up to off-hook falls short of this value, the gateway will
ignore the status variation, and consider that the phone remains in hang-up status.
Otherwise, the gateway will ignore the status variation, and considers the phone as
staying in off-hook status. Effective range of setting is 10-1000 ms.
*
Ring frequency
Set the ringing frequency to be transmitted by the gateway to the phone.
The range is 15-50 Hz. The default is 20 Hz.
For Aeonix US ALARMS
Set
frequency to 20 Hz
Play busy tone for
network fault
Play a busy tone upon off-hook when a network fault occurs.
Caller release
Set the delay release time of line as caller control method. The default is 60 sec.
Effective range of setting is 15-180 sec.
This parameter is used in combination with the
Release control by caller
parameter in
