Name
Description
Subnet mask
The subnet mask is used with an IP address. When the gateways uses a static IP
address, this parameter must be entered; when an IP address is automatically obtained
through DHCP, the system will display the subnet mask automatically obtained by
DHCP. It has no default value.

Default gateway
The IP address of LAN gateway. When the gateways obtain an IP address through
DHCP, the system will display the LAN gateway address automatically obtained
through DHCP. It has no default value.
For Aeonix
Enter ,the default gateways IP address of the network (LAN gateway
IP address where the gateway is located).

Obtain DNS
server address
automatically
When the connection mode is "DHCP" or "PPPoE", the TGW uses the automatically
obtained IP address of the DNS server.
For Aeonix
Select this option to Obtain DNS server address automatically

Use the DNS server addresses specified manually.

Primary DNS
Server
This parameter appears when

The network IP address of the

must be entered.

Secondary DNS
Server
This parameter appears when

The network IP address of the
Secondary DNS server
can be entered.
There is no default value.
STUN
The TGW periodically sends a STUN request to the STUN server to obtain the public
IP address for the front-end router. It is disabled by default.
The following parameters appear when
STUN Enable
is selected.
Server IP address /
Name
This parameter appears when STUN is selected.
Set the IP address or domain name of the STUN server. No default value. If the
STUN server parameter is empty, the gateway will adopt the STUN server address
configured at the factory.
When selecting STUN for NAT traversal, the gateway will carry out STUN
operations periodically according to the configured Session interval.
Server port
This parameter appears when STUN is selected.
Set the port of STUN server. It is 3478 by default.
Session interval
This parameter appears when STUN is selected.
The interval at which the TGW sends a STUN request. The range is 30 - 3600 sec.
Operations
This parameter appears when STUN is selected.
Trunk re-registration
:
A re-registration of the SIP trunk is triggered upon the detection of the change of
the public IP address of the TGW by using STUN query. Normally, the session
interval of STUN request should be shorter than the registration period.
Note: The IP address obtained through STUN is used only for re-registration of
SIP server, and it is not used in SIP message fields such as Via and Contact and
SDP C field.
Trunk re-registration & NAT address updating
:
A re-registration of the SIP trunk is triggered upon the detection of the change of
the public IP address of the TGW by using STUN query. And the IP address
obtained through STUN is used in SIP message fields such as Via and Contact and
SDP C field.
