Configuring address masquerading
Address masquerading is a method of concealing email addresses or domain
names behind the mail gateway by assigning replacement values to them.
Symantec Mail Security for SMTP lets you implement address masquerading on
inbound mail, outbound mail, or both.
Manage masqueraded entries
Follow these steps to add or edit masqueraded entries.
To add a masqueraded entry

In the Control Center, click
Settings
>
Address Masquerading
.

Click
Add
.

Specify an address or domain to masquerade.

Specify a new name for the address or domain name.

Specify a mail flow direction to which this masqueraded name will apply:
inbound, outbound, or both.
