3) Thread the connector (4) onto the throttle control
cable (5).
Push in cable connector while adjusting it to align
with pivot pin “A” on the throttle control lever (1).
Adjust the connector until a 2 – 3 mm (0.08 – 0.12
in.) clearance “b” exist between throttle control lever
and intake manifold.
Connect the cable connector (4) onto pivot pin “A” at
this position with the flat side of connector towards
the lever as shown figure.
4) Install the washer (6) and snap pin (7), then tighten
the cable lock nut (8) against the connector to
maintain adjustment.
5) Move the throttle control grip to the fully opened
position.
Check that the match mark (pointer) “B” on the
throttle cam (9) align with the stopper (10).
6) Return the throttle control grip to the fully closed
position.
Check that the throttle control lever (1) is in fully
closed position.
Also make sure that the tip of throttle stop screw (2)
contacts the throttle lever stop (3).
Harness routing
1) Connect the handle wire harness (1) to the engine
side, then install the connector to the connector
holder.
NOTE
Moving parts located underneath of throttle
body, rods and throttle cam should always be
free from contacting with the handle wire
harness connector.
Rigging port grommet
1) Push the grommet (1) into the front panel.
2) Tighten the grommet by the band (2) and cut off the
excess.
