Power Unit Mechanical: 1D-17

25) Remove the fourteen bolts (29).

26) Lift up and remove power unit from engine holder.

Installation

Installation is reverse order of removal with special
attention to the following step.

CAUTION

Do not reuse gaskets, O-rings and seals.
Always replace with new parts.

Power unit

• Install dowel pins (1), gasket (2) and seal ring (3).

Apply water resistant grease to driveshaft splines.

: Grease 99000–25161 (SUZUKI Water

Resistant Grease (250 g))

• Install the engine holder seal (4).

NOTE
Install seal (4) with lip facing upward.

NOTE
Before installing power unit, apply sealant to
the four hatched areas shown in the
illustration at below.
