Improving Color Uniformity of X-Walls
During the printing process, the alignment of the print heads can adversely affect
the color uniformity of the model’s X-walls. The non-uniformity is more noticeable
when the model’s left and right X-walls need to be matched after printing.

To achieve optimum color uniformity on left and right X-walls of the model, after
running the Head Alignment wizard, perform this wizard.
It is recommended to perform this wizard after replacing a print head.
The correction performed by this wizard can be activated or deactivated
before each print job, as needed.
Note
: This wizard is applicable for High Mix and High Speed modes only.
In this procedure, you print a test transparency using the wizard, scan it on the
digital scanner, load and analyze the scanned transparencies in an external
Color Uniformity Utility, and enter the pixel correction values for each print head
in this wizard.
