Bedienung
Die Bedienung der beiden Laufwerke ist vollkom-
men identisch.
5.1 CD oder SD-Karte abspielen
1) Den CD-Player mit dem Ein-/Ausschalter POWER
(35) einschalten. Ist eine CD eingeschoben, leuch-
tet die LED DISC INSIDE (33) und nach dem Ein-
lesevorgang erscheinen im Display (3) verschie-
dene Informationen zur CD (Kap. 5.2). Ist keine CD
eingeschoben, wird
(keine CD) angezeigt.
2) Zum Einlegen einer CD diese mit der Beschrif-
tung nach oben so weit in den CD-Einzugsschlitz
(32) schieben, bis sie automatisch eingezogen
wird. Zum Einlegen einer anderen CD, zuerst die
momentane CD mit der Taste
(6 oder 34) aus-
werfen (nicht während der Wiedergabe möglich).
Bei Titeln im MP3-Format erscheint im Display
die Anzeige „MP3“ (c) und der Dateiname des an-
gewählten Titels wird in der Textzeile (s) angezeigt.
3) Soll die Wiedergabe von einer SD-Karte erfolgen,
diese mit ihren Kontakten nach links zeigend in
den Einsteckschlitz (30) stecken und mit der
Taste CARD (16) die Karte anwählen. Der Pfeil
„CARD“ (q) erscheint. Zum Zurückschalten auf
die CD die Taste CARD erneut drücken.
Hinweis: Solange eine SD-Karte angewählt ist,
lässt sich auf der gleichen Laufwerkseite keine
CD einschieben oder auswerfen.
4) Zum Starten mit dem ersten Titel die Taste
(26) drücken. Während der Wiedergabe zeigt
das Display das Symbol
(n).
5) Zum Anwählen eines anderen Titels
a) die Titelnummer mit den Zifferntasten (10) an-
wählen [der Pfeil „EFFECT“ (r) darf nicht sicht-
bar sein, anderenfalls die Taste EFFECT/
TRACK (11) drücken] oder
b) die Tasten TRACK (25) verwenden

den Titels springen. Durch weiteres Drücken

6) Das Abspielen kann jederzeit mit der Taste
unterbrochen werden. Im Display erscheint das
Pausensymbol
(o). Die Tasten
und CUE
(24) blinken. Zum Weiterspielen die Taste
er-
neut drücken.
7) Nach dem Einschalten steht das Gerät immer
auf Einzeltitelwiedergabe: Das Display zeigt
„SINGLE“ (d). Ist ein Titel zu Ende gespielt,
schaltet das Gerät am Anfang des nächsten
Titels auf Pause. Soll jedoch ein Titel nach dem
anderen kontinuierlich gespielt werden, mit der
Taste CONT. SINGLE (9) auf Gesamttitelwieder-
gabe schalten (siehe auch Kapitel 5.3).
8) Vor dem Ausschalten des Gerätes immer zuerst
die Wiedergabe von einer SD-Karte mit der Taste
beenden oder das Kopieren von MP3-
Dateien auf die Karte zu Ende führen (Kap. 8.3).
Erst dann den CD-Spieler mit dem Ein-/Aus-
schalter POWER (35) abschalten.
5.2 Anzeige der Titelnummer, Laufzeit, Takt-
schläge pro Minute und des Ruhemodus
In der Grundeinstellung nach dem Einschalten gibt
das Display folgende Informationen an:
1. die Anzahl der Titel (b) auf der CD bzw. SD-Karte
2. die angewählte Titelnummer (a)
3. die Restlaufzeit des angewählten Titels nume-
risch (t) und grafisch (v); die Sekunden sind in 75
sogenannte Frames (F) unterteilt
4. bei MP3-Titeln wird zusätzlich der Dateiname
des angewählten Titels in der Textzeile (s) ange-
geben (max. 30 Zeichen)
Durch mehrfaches kurzes Betätigen der Taste
TIME/STOP (8) lässt sich die Laufzeitanzeige um-
schalten (wird die Taste länger gedrückt, schaltet
das Laufwerk auf Stopp):
erster Tastendruck
die bereits gespielte Zeit des momentanen Titels;
Anzeige „ELAPSED“ (e)
weiterer Tastendruck
die Restzeit der gesamten CD; Anzeige „TOTAL
REMAIN“ (g + h) – nicht bei Titeln im MP3-For-
mat möglich
weiterer Tastendruck

5.2.1 Bargraf
Zusätzlich zur numerischen Laufzeitanzeige (t) stellt
der Bargraf (v) die Laufzeit grafisch durch seine
Länge dar. Die letzten 30 Sekunden eines Titels sig-
nalisiert der Bargraf durch Blinken in seiner vollen
Länge, wobei die letzten 15 Sekunden durch ein
schnelleres Blinken angezeigt werden.
5.2.2 Beatcounter
Zur Anzeige der Taktschläge pro Minute des laufen-
den Titels den Beatcounter einschalten: Die Taste
BPM/TAP (27) kurz drücken. Die Anzeige „BPM“
und das Symbol
(y) erscheinen. Sobald der
Counter die Anzahl der Taktschläge pro Minute
ermittelt hat, wird diese im Feld (x) darunter ange-
zeigt.
Kann der Beatcounter keinen richtigen Wert er-
mitteln (z. B. bei Klassik oder ruhigen Musiktiteln), in
den manuellen Modus schalten: Die Taste BPM/
TAP 3 Sek. gedrückt halten, bis das Symbol
erlischt. Dann die Taste im Takt der Musik einige
Male drücken. Zum Zurückschalten auf den automa-
tischen Zählmodus die Taste BPM/TAP erneut
3 Sek. gedrückt halten, bis das Symbol
wieder
erscheint.
Hinweise
1. Solange der Beatcounter noch kein brauchbares
Resultat gezählt hat (z. B. am Titelanfang), signa-
lisiert die Anzeige „– – –“.
2. Ist der automatische Zählmodus eingeschaltet,
lässt sich die Beatcounter-Anzeige durch kurzes
Drücken der Taste BPM/TAP wieder ausblenden.

Operation
The operation of the two player mechanisms is iden-
tical.
5.1 Replaying a CD or an SD card
1) Switch on the CD player with the POWER switch
(35). If a CD is inserted, the LED DISC INSIDE
(33) will light up. After the CD has been read in,
various information concerning the CD (chapter
5.2) is indicated on the display (3). If no CD is in-
serted,
(no CD) is displayed.
2) Insert a CD with the lettering facing upwards into
the CD slot (32) until it is automatically pulled in.
To insert another CD, first eject the current CD
with the button
(6 or 34) [not possible during
the replay].
For titles in the MP3 format, “MP3” (c) is dis-
played and the file name of the title selected is
indicated in the text line (s).
3) For replay from an SD card, insert the card with
its contacts pointing to the left into the slot (30),
then select the card with the button CARD (16).
The arrow “CARD” (q) appears. To return to the
CD, press the button CARD once again.
Note: As long as an SD card is selected, it is not
possible to insert or eject a CD on the same side
of the player mechanism.
4) To start the CD with the first title, press the button
(26). As long as the CD is replayed, the sym-
bol
(n) is displayed.
5) To select another title
a) select the title number with the numerical keys
(10) [the arrow “EFFECT” (r) must not be visi-
ble, otherwise press the button EFFECT/
TRACK (11)] or
b) use the buttons TRACK (25)

: for returning to the beginning of
the current title. With each actuation of the

, the unit goes back another title.
To skip several titles, keep the button

pressed.
6) The replay can be interrupted at any time with the
button
. The pause symbol
(o) is displayed.
The buttons
and CUE (24) start flashing. To
continue, press the button
once again.
7) After switching on, the unit is always set to single
title replay: “SINGLE” (d) is displayed. If a title is
played to the end, the unit is set to pause at the
beginning of the next title. However, for contin-
uous replay of one title after the other, set the unit
to total title replay with the button CONT. SINGLE
(9) [also see chapter 5.3].
8) Prior to switching off the unit, always terminate
the replay from an SD card with the button
or
finish the copying procedure of MP3 files on the
card (chapter 8.3) before switching off the CD
player with the POWER switch (35).
5.2 Display of title number, playing time,
beats per minute, and sleep mode
In the basic setting after switching on, the following
information is displayed:
1. the number of titles (b) on the CD or SD card
2. the title number selected (a)
3. the remaining time of the title selected, both
numerically (t) and graphically (v); the seconds
are divided into 75 so-called frames (F)
4. for MP3 titles, the file name of the title selected
(30 characters max.) is additionally indicated in
the text line (s)
By repeated short actuation of the button TIME/
STOP (8), it is possible to switch over the time indi-
cation (if the button is pressed for a longer time, the
player mechanism will stop):
1st actuation of button:
the time already played of the current title; dis-
play “ELAPSED” (e)
next actuation of button:
the remaining time of the entire CD; display
“TOTAL REMAIN” (g + h) – not possible for ti-
tles in the MP3 format
next actuation of button:
basic setting (display of the remaining time of
the current title); display “REMAIN” (h)
5.2.1 Bar graph
In addition to the numerical time indication (t), the
bar graph (v) indicates the playing time graphically
by its length. The last 30 seconds of a title are indi-
cated by the bar graph flashing in its full length, the
last 15 seconds by even faster flashing.
5.2.2 Beat counter
To display the number of beats per minute of the cur-
rent title, switch on the beat counter: Shortly actuate
the button BPM/TAP (27). “BPM” and the symbol
(y) are displayed. As soon as the beat counter has
determined the number of beats per minute, this
value will be indicated in the field (x) below.
If the beat counter is not able to determine a useful
value (e. g. in case of classical music or calm music ti-
tles), switch to the manual mode: Keep the button
BPM/TAP pressed for 3 seconds until the symbol
disappears. Then press the button several times to
the beat of the music. To return to the automatic
counting mode, keep the button BPM/TAP pressed
again for 3 seconds until the symbol
reappears.
Notes
1. As long as the beat counter has not counted any
useful result (e. g. at the beginning of a title), the
display shows “– – –”.
2. With the automatic counting mode switched on,
the display of the beat counter will disappear if
the button BPM/TAP is pressed shortly.
5.2.3 Sleep mode
If both player mechanisms are set to pause for a
period exceeding 30 minutes, the unit will automati-
cally go to sleep mode. In this case, both laser sam-
pling systems are switched off for the purpose of
conservation.
