Configuring SIP pro

vider accounts

The login data of the provider
access of your VoIP provider are
known and an open connection
exists for VoIP telephone calls to the
internet / VoIP server.

In the navigation area, click on the
Telephony connection
menu.

Telephony connection
menu
opens up.

In the opened
Telephony
connection
menu, click on the
Gateways
menu.

The
Gateways
page opens up in
the content area.

Click on
Add
.

A
drop-down menu
opens up.

Select
SIP provider
in this drop-
down menu.

Create gateway
page opens
up in the content area.

Carry out all inputs in the
General
area.

Assign a meaningful
Name
and
Description
to the SIP provider to
ensure that this is clearly identifiable.

Change to the area
Connection
.

Enter a
Prefix
(e.g.
0
).

Enter the
IP address
of the SIP
provider (e.g. 11.22.33.44).

Enter the
Account names
for
the SIP provider account you wish
to use (e.g. [your VoIP telephone
number]).

Enter the
Digest
allocated by the
SIP provider.

Enter the
Realm
allocated by the
SIP provider.

Enter the
password
allocated by
the SIP provider.

Under
Audio frame size [ms]
enter the value (

) which is
supported by your SIP provider.

If you wish the SIP provider
account to be used for external
telephony (public telephone net

work), the option

must be activated.
Note:
If a homogeneous call
number plan is used (each assigned
call number is unique in the joint
Access and TC system network),
when calling an
incoming call
number
, this is called directly in the
Access System, even if the optional
configuration steps

have not
