10.0 Hard lip seal
10.1 General
Design
• The removable support ring (containing the lip seal) is built into the seal cover,
which is assembled in the rotor case from the front end, and locked by the friction
force of an O-ring.
• The lip seal is running on the rotating shaft sleeve which is locked on the shaft.
• Seal faces on the shaft sleeve are coated with tungsten carbide.
• Suitable for two directions of rotation.
• Low pressure quench or flushing possible if the pump is equipped with the flush
cover including extra lip seals.
