via the USB cable or by using the wall-plug. The USB port supplies enough current to “trickle
charge” the SunEye 210. However, it is insufficient to operate the unit. The trickle charge current
is less that the operating current. For proper operation it is important to maintain the charge of the
battery. Prolonged storage will result in the slow discharge of the battery. After a prolonged pe-
riod of storage, connect the wall charger before powering on the device. It is preferable to leave
the device always plugged in to maintain charge when not in use. For more information, refer to
“Charging the Battery” on page

If you experience problems with the automatic open sky detection incorrectly identifying the
open sky, please send us the original full fisheye image by exporting the session, and locating
the image called SkyXXFullFishEye.jpg in the Exported Files subdirectory. XX is the skyline
name (for example 01, 02…). Please also report the version number of the software. The version
number can be found in the Tools menu
