6.1.3 Requirements for the connection of external devices

The connection of external devices to the interfaces (download-, 
remote- or info interface pin D8) of the DTCO 1381 is permissible 
only when these devices fulfil the following requirements:

•

The devices must be switched to a dead (electrical) condition in 
the intended operation (operational case ADR). 

•

The data lines must be installed inside the driver’s com-
partment.

Application default

Additionally devices for the connection to the info interface (pin D8) 
must have the following electrical characteristics at their input:
