Modbus RTU function codes

In addition to the Modbus RTU function codes of the COM16 module, described on

 page 9-68

, the following definitions of the Status Regis-

ter, Control Bits, Extra Flags, Basic Types and Exception Status Bits apply to the COM16 module.

Status Register

The Status Register provides WL status information to the Modbus RTU master. The Status Register is accessed using the following func-
tions:

- 02 Read Input Status Discretes
- 04 Read Input Registers
