Management of the tie breaker (TB)
– This parameter is used for setting the use of the
tie breaker. If an additional tie breaker is used, this
parameter may not be set to OFF. It is also possible
to specify whether the programmable Open / Close
outputs are to be continuously active (application
with contactors or with switching devices without
feedback) or operating in pulse mode, i.e. enabled
until the tie breaker is located in the correct position.

delay A20)
– If the tie breaker is not in the correct position with-
in this time following an ON or OFF command,
alarm A20 is triggered.

Opening pulse duration of tie breaker (TB)
– Minimum duration of an opening command pulse.
In the application using motor-driven breakers, a
sufficiently long time must be set in order to enable
the complete charging of the springs. This time is
also taken into consideration when operating in the
continuous signal mode.

– This parameter enables the tie breaker name to
be customized. The name can be seen in the Over-
view display.

Close delay of tie breaker TB
– This parameter defines the delay time between
closing of the source breakers and closing of the tie
breaker. The tie breaker is closed after the breakers
of the sources BRK 1 / BRK 2.

Pre-transfer time Load 1
– Delay between enabling the output Pre-transfer
Load 1 and the actual shutting down of the load. For
this purpose, one output must be parameterized
with the function Pre-transfer Load 1. For more

digital outputs (Page 150).
