5.8 Air temperature control
The application supports 2 different ventilation temperature controlling strategies:
●
Constant supply air temperature (TSu) control
●
Extract (TEx) temperature/room temperature control
5.8.1 Supply air temperature control (TSuCtlH21y)
The supply temperature is controlled in accordance to the TSu value to the
specified supply temperature setpoint by using available and commissioned
heating and cooling components.
Separate supply air temperature setpoints (SpT…) can be defined for the operating
modes Unoccupied, Economy and Comfort. Individual tolerances before heating
coils (DSpH…) and cooling coils (DSpC…) are used can be defined for
Unoccupied, Economy and Comfort.
If the supply air temperature sensor is defective, an A alarm is triggered and the
ventilation unit switches itself off.
Heating mode (TSuCtlH21y)
ERC is used as first heating sequence when (TSu) drops below the setpoint
(SpT…).
Heating with additional energy is released when outside temperature (TOa) drops
below set heating limitation value. Additional heating coil is activated, when the
control signal for ERC has reached maximum (speed/”on”) and TSu temperature
drops below setpoint by differential (DSpH…).
Cooling mode (TSuCtlC21y)
ERC may only be used as the first cooling sequence if the extract temperature
(TEx) is below the outdoor temperature (TOa) by switching differential and the
supply temperature (TSu) is above the setpoint (SpT) at the same time. If TEx is
not available, the room temperature (TR(n)) is used as the reference value.
Cooling with additional energy is enabled when the outside temperature (TOa)
rises over the set cooling limitation value. The cooling coil is activated when TSu
temperature rises above the setpoint (SpT..) by differential (DSpC..) and ERC
control signal has reached 100%/”on” output.
